Paul Crist Studios has a reputation for expert metal work that is unmatched in the industry. Over our more than 40 years in business, we have restored literally thousands of Tiffany bronze articles and, in the process, gained a thorough knowledge of the technology and style of Tiffany's metalwork. To better serve our customers, we have mastered many of Tiffany's most demanding metal techniques, including lost wax casting, metal spinning, furnace brazing, metal etching, wire applique, repose and, perhaps most important of all, the application of a very legitimate looking Tiffany patina. Much of the best work we do is, by its very nature, strictly confidential and cannot be used to promote our services. Suffice it to say that our abiding goal in restoration is to make our labors undetectable and in that effort we have been very successful.
During our long tenure, we have developed an extensive library of patterns for Tiffany and other parts, which we routinely draw upon for restoration. Cataloging all of this inventory would be nearly impossible and any specific needs that you might have should be discussed directly with Joe Jewell. All that we are able to showcase here is the hardware most often requestedmainly accessories such as caps and knobs, We have divided these offerings into two sections, one devoted to our extensive line of standard Tiffany hardware and another that covers a variety of other period American lamp makers.
